Our School

We opened the doors to our first cohort on Monday the 16th September 2019 and were officially opened by the Mayor of Milton Keynes on Thursday the 26th  September 2019 as a 30 place Post-16 Centre for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Our mission is to provide the students from both Stephenson Academy and Bridge Academy, access to Post 16 education.  We provide them with an opportunity to upskill their academic levels and boost their self-confidence to help ease their next steps into young adulthood.  We are one of only a handful of innovative provisions in the country that cater to students who would benefit from the opportunity to build on their key stage four subject knowledge in an inclusive setting.

Our aim is to develop their employability skills and academics, so that all students feel able to make positive and successful next steps into the community. This might be moving on to college, sixth form, apprenticeships or employment.

On July 1st 2022 we moved our provision to Oakwood Drive, Fenny Stratford MK2 2JQ to expand our provision in terms of catering facilities, classrooms and larger grounds to promote a truly alternative curriculum to meet the needs of our student co-hort,

I have been a staff member of the Trust since September 2017. Having over seventeen years of teaching experience in both mainstream and secondary SEN schools, I am proud to be leading the post 16 provision and see first-hand the achievements of our students.

My passion lies in making a difference to the lives of young people, and this shines through in our holistic curriculum.  It underpins the work we do across the Trust to meet the needs of our students academically, socially and emotionally as they make the transition to adulthood.
