The Day

The core hours of the school day vary depending on your pathway. 

Our Re-engaging with Education pathways tend to have a rest day during the week and may have a later start to ease young people back into education.  

They will have an option subject on Fridays and core learning throughout the week 

Our Building-up and Extended pathway students will attend fulltime. However bespoke timetables will be adapted for students based on what they require for their next steps.  

They will have option subjects on Tuesdays and Fridays with core learning throughout the week. 

Additionally on Mondays and Tuesdays we run Session 6 activities from 2:30pm-3:30pm and these offer a range of extra-curricular activities.    

Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award sessions will be Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30pm for those students who wish to achieve this certificate and complete their four sections with staff support. 

Students that are "workplace ready" will be considered for work experience that may run during the school day or outside of school hours depending on the placement.
