The core hours of the school day are Tuesday to Thursday 8.30am until 2.45pm and Fridays 8:30am-1pm
Work experience takes place on either Mondays or Friday afternoons, when students are 'work ready'.
Core curriculum is:
- Language and Communication
- Numeracy
- Work Skills
- Social Enterprise
- Life Skills
- Catering
If students have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and Maths they will have private study in those hours.
Our Social Enterprise Qualification will include content from:
- Art
- Construction
- Hair & Beauty
- Health & Social Care
- Motor Vehicles
- Media
Social enterprise consists of 4 lessons a week with an additional 2 lessons a week of specialist teaching to promote the skills needed to develop their portfolios.
